Command Area Development and Water Management (CADWM) programme is a Centrally Sponsored Plan Scheme being implemented in the State since 1976-77. The vision of CAD is to reduce the gap between irrigation potential created and that utilized by construction of On-farm Developmental works like, construction of field channel, field drain etc. and through scientific water management so that the agricultural production will increase.
